Disposal Facility ( Site ) Inspection Report ( 52 ) <br /> Forward Landfill , Inc . (39 -AA-0015 ) <br /> 4/ 13/2023 <br /> Notes : <br /> 1 . The area of concern for litter control has been corrected . Some areas with daylighting has <br /> been covered with soil . Operator mentioned the remainder of the landfill with daylighting <br /> would be covered in the next couple of days . Employees were observed picking up litter <br /> during the inspection . <br /> 2 . The area of concern for drainage and erosion control have been corrected . Erosion <br /> channels have been repaired and ponding was not observed . <br /> 3 . The first truck at the active face was at 6 : 06 am . <br /> 4 . Tarp and soil are used for the daily cover . Tarps are in good condition . <br /> 5 . Records were available for review . <br /> 6 . Track out was light and the odor was moderate . <br /> 7 . The winter pads are currently utilized . There are two areas that are being used for disposal ; <br /> one is for the tipper and the other is for all other trucks . <br /> 8 . Monitoring wells GP-28 and GP- 12R were measured for methane level . The methane <br /> concentration for the wells were 0 % for the shallow , intermediate and deep probes . <br /> 9 . Construction of a new cell (WPU FU -23) is anticipated to begin at the beginning of May <br /> 2023 .
