All sterile tools are stored in the original package, which is individually packed. Any other <br />equipment is packaged accordingly and organized neatly in small storage containers. All <br />equipment is stored in a high and dry location. <br />D. Permanent Cosmetics: <br />Setup: 1) Clean, disinfect, and sanitize: workstation, client chair, or any area being used for <br />treatment. 2) Cover all surfaces of treatment area with a barrier (ie: plastic wrap, disposable bed <br />cover, disposable bibs) 3) Take all necessary tools and equipment and place on workstation. 4) <br />Start treatment <br />Tear Down: 1) Dispose any needles used for treatment in sharps container. 2) Wrap all used and <br />unused equipment in workstation bib and dispose in lined and lidded trash bin. 3) Remove <br />disposable bed cover and plastic wrap on head rest of treatment chair. 4) Remove plastic wrap <br />from any other equipment used in treatment. 5) Clean any debris from all surfaces used in <br />treatment. 6) Use all-purpose cleaner to disinfect any surface used in treatment. 7) Sanitize all <br />surfaces areas with CaviCide wipes. <br />4. Include barriers provided to prevent cross contamination. Describe how the <br />procedure site is prepared for a body art procedure.
