Executive Summary
Level of
Potential Impacts Significance Mitigation Measures
00 Existing electric power sources shall be used to the extent feasible. This
measure would minimize the use of higher polluting gas or diesel
generators.
00 The hours of operation of heavy duty equipment and/or the quantity of
equipment in use shall be limited to the extent feasible.
AQ-2:
Prepare and implement a dust control plan in accordance with Rule 8021 and
Table 8021-1. The Project proponent/operator and/or its contractor(s)shall
implement the following measures during construction of the Project, subject to
verification by the County. The plan shall include all SJVAPCD-recom mended
measures, including, but not limited to, the following:
cc Pre-water the site before construction begins. Land clearing, grubbing,
scraping, excavation, land leveling, grading, cut and fill, and demolition
activities shall be effectively controlled utilizing application of water or by
presoaking to limit visible dust emissions to less than 20 percent opacity.
cc Phase work to reduce the amount of disturbed area at any one time.
00 Minimize and clean up track-out onto paved roads.
Oc Cover haul trucks.
00 Rapid cleanup of Project-related track-out or spills on paved roads.
00 Minimize grading and soil movement when winds exceed 30 miles per
hour.
00 Implement a speed limit of 15 miles per hour during all construction
phases for vehicles traveling on unpaved roads.
IMPACT 4.3-2: Would the project result in a cumulatively considerable Less than Implement AQ-1 and AQ-2.
net increase of any criteria pollutant for which the project region is Significant Impact
non-attainment under an applicable federal or state ambient air quality
standard?
IMPACT 4.3-3: Would the project expose sensitive receptors to Less than Implement AQ-1 and AQ-3
substantial pollutant concentrations?
