Rare Plant Survey Report Griffith Energy Storage Project <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> Griffith Energy, LLC requested rare plant surveys to be conducted for the Griffith Energy Storage <br /> Project(Project).Tetra Tech previously conducted a literature review and general biological survey in <br /> January 2022 at the proposed Project site that recommended rare plant surveys for caper-fruited <br /> tropidocarpum (Tropidocorpum copporideum) and big tarplant(elephorizonio plumose) (Tetra Tech <br /> 2022).One rare plant survey was conducted for caper-fruited tropidocarpum in March 2022 and a <br /> second survey was conducted for big tarplant in September 2022.One rare plant species, big tarplant, <br /> was found on the Project site during the September 2022 rare plant survey.Two populations of this <br /> species were found onsite.This report describes the methods and results of the rare plant surveys and <br /> provides preliminary recommended measures for big tarplant. <br /> OTETRA TECH ES-1 <br />
