Spaces shall be a minimum 25 feet in length and 15 feet in width and shall have minimum height <br /> clearance of 14 feet . ( Development Title Section 9 - 406 . 070 [g ] [ 1 ] ) <br /> f . ACCESS AND CIRCULATION : The following requirements apply and shall be shown on the Site <br /> Plan : <br /> 1 . Access driveways shall have a width of no less than 25 feet for two -way aisles and 16 feet for one - <br /> way aisles , except that in no case shall driveways designated as fire department access be less <br /> than 20 feet wide . The first 20 feet of any driveway and major circulation drive lanes shall be surfaced with pavement <br /> or Portland cement concrete . A minimum 10 - foot- wide landscaped strip shall be installed between parking areas and <br /> adjacent public streets . ( Development Title Section 9 - 402 . 030 [c] [ 2] ) <br /> 2 . SCREENING : <br /> 1 . All storage materials and related activities , including storage areas for trash , shall be screened so <br /> as not to be visible from adjacent properties and public rights - of-ways . This screening shall be <br /> between 6 and 8 feet in height . Outside storage is not permitted in front yards , street side yards , <br /> or in front of main buildings . A minimum 6 - to 8 -foot-tall fence for screening shall be installed along a property line where truck <br /> and trailer parking is located . Screening may consist of a masonry wall or any solid fencing <br /> approved by the Zoning Administrator . ( Development Title Section 9 - 406 . 070 [e] [2] ) . <br /> i . LIGHTING : Lighting shall be provided and comply with the following : <br /> 1 . All off- street parking areas within Commercial and Industrial zones and projects where the parking <br /> area is used at night shall be provided with exterior lighting . ( Development Title Section 9 - <br /> 406 . 060 [ m ] ) <br /> 2 . All lighting shall be designed to confine direct rays to the premises . No spillover beyond the <br /> property lines shall be permitted , except onto public roads , provided , however , that such light shall <br /> not cause a hazard to motorists . All lighting shall be on a time clock or photo - sensor system so as to be turned off during daylight <br /> hours and during any hours when the parking area is not in use .
