MOUNTAIN HOUSE MASTER PLAN <br /> Objective: To promote efficient use of community facilities. <br /> Policy; <br /> a) The integration of educational facilities with parks and other community <br /> uses and services shall be encouraged wherever feasible and acceptable <br /> to the Schooi Districts and the County Parks and Recreation Department, <br /> Implementation: <br /> a) Links with Other Users. Links between school facilities and other <br /> serviceslusers shall be promoted for such activitles as adult education, <br /> child care, senior citizens, civic groups, parks and recreation, community <br /> sports complexes and community-wide commain"tion systems. <br /> b) Particinations with Districts. Participation with the School Districts shall be <br /> promoted in areas of facility lease)ownership, facility and landscape <br /> maintenance,vehicle storage and maintenance, and other areas. <br /> 5.2 CHILD CARE FACILITIES <br /> Objective. To encourage the development of day and extended child care <br /> facilities within Mountain House, <br /> Policy: <br /> a) ❑ay and after school child care facilities shall be encouraged to locate within <br /> the community at sites which are easily accessible to residents and wofkers, <br /> and which are appropriate for child care uses- <br /> Implementation- <br /> a) <br /> ses_Implementation`a) Child Care Centers_ A minimum of three one-acre Child Care sites shall be <br /> provided. The sites will be equltably placed throughout the community. <br /> These sites will utilize acreage set aside within the Neighborhood Center or <br /> alternatively, provided within the Waage Center commercial areas with the <br /> exception of the first Neighborhood Center which will include a child care <br /> site.
