The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for SHORT STOP FOOD MART as of December04, 2023. <br /> Open violations from September 18, 2023 inspection <br /> Violation #110-Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. <br /> OBSERVATION The business operator could not provide hazardous waste disposal records for the past three <br /> years during the inspection. Manifest 022516475JJK was not observed on site at the time of the inspection. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall keep a copy of each manifest signed in accordance <br /> with section 66262.23(a)for three years or until the generator receives a signed copy from the designated facility <br /> which received the waste. This signed copy shall be retained as a record for at least three years from the date the <br /> waste was accepted by the initial transporter. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a copy of manifest 022516475JJK and maintain a copy on site for a minimum of 3 <br /> years. Provide these records and a corrective action statement to the EHD within 30 days. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation #117-Failed to submit a written response within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. <br /> OBSERVATION This business did not provide a written response to the inspection report dated 10/21/2020 within <br /> 30 days. The report was provided to the facility at the time of the inspection. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The operator of the site or facility which receives an inspection report shall submit a <br /> written response to the department or the local officer or agency authorized to enforce this chapter pursuant to <br /> subdivision (a) of Section 25180 within 60 days of receipt of the inspection report, or within a shorter time as the <br /> department or the local officer or agency may reasonably require, which shall include a statement documenting <br /> corrective actions taken by the operator or proposing corrective actions which will be taken by the operator, for <br /> purposes of compliance with this chapter, or disputing the existence of the violation.
