No liquid was in the storage <br /> compartment. Eyewash bottle expiration dates were ineligible. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All facility communications or alarm systems,fire protection equipment,spill control <br /> equipment, and decontamination equipment,where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure <br /> its proper operation in time of emergency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the eye wash station and eyewash bottles into proper working order by repair, <br /> replacement or testing. Provide a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 714 CCR 66273.36 Universal Waste Handler failed to train employees and maintain records. <br /> OBSERVATION: The facility could not provide an annual training record or description of training for all of the facility <br /> personnel who manage universal waste. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66273.36 Personnel Training <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately provide employees with UW training in the detail required by this section. <br /> Generate a training record with a list of trained employees and the date of training. Provide a corrective action <br /> statement, the training record, a detailed description of the training, and supporting documentation to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection.
