Environmental Health Department <br />Facility Name and Address: SAMS CAFE, 2328 PACIFIC AVE, STOCKTON 95204 <br />Food Program Official Inspection Report <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br />OBSERVATIONS: Rodent droppings were observed in the following areas: <br />-Inside the front counter cabinets. <br />- The storage room by the dishwasher room. <br />- Storage room near the one door freezer. <br />- On top of the dishwasher. <br />- Under the dishwasher. <br />- Inside a box of cleaning cloths located in the storage room by the one door freezer. <br />Increase pest control as necessary. Discard any contaminated items. Clean and sanitize all areas today. (REPEAT) <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin: rodents (rats, mice), cockroaches, flies.( 114259.1, 114259.4, <br />114259.5) <br /> #27 Food Protected from Contamination <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed raw meat stored on top of buns inside the one door Midea freezer. Store potentially hazardous <br />food below and/or away from ready to eat items. Correct today. <br />Observed the scoop handle in the sugar container touching the sugar. Store scoop outside in a cleanable container or with <br />handle not touching the food item. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All food shall be separated and protected from contamination. Store <br />cleaning chemicals below/away from food items to prevent contamination. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All poisonous substances, detergents, bleaches, and cleaning compounds shall be stored separate from food, <br />utensils, packing material and food-contact surfaces. (114254, 114254.1, 114254.2) <br /> #30 Food Storage/Display Properly Labeled <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed an open bag of spaghetti in the storage room and several opened containers of food inside the <br />coolers.
