Report of Facility Information
Tracy Material Recovery& Transfer Facility
30703 S. MacArthur Drive, Tracy, California 95377
INTRODUCTION
The Report of Facility Information is described in detail within three separate documents
describing operations — sharing a common set of figures and appendices which are
referenced in each document — that are to be permitted by the Department of Resource
Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) and the County of San Joaquin Environmental
Health Department — acting as the Local Enforcement Agent (LEA) — for the below solid
waste processing and handling activities. This Report of Facility Information will act as
the stand-alone operational document to remain on-site for the LEA to utilize when
inspecting the facility for compliance with state minimum standards.
Transfer/Processing Report
The proposed expansion to activities at the Tracy Material Recovery Facility & Transfer
Facility (Tracy MRF) will necessitate the revision of the current Full Solid Waste Facility
Permit (SWFP).
Report of Composting Site Information
The composting of green material, food material, and agricultural commodities will
operate under the same SWFP as the transfer station and material recovery facility, and
the Construction and Demolition/Inert Debris (CDI) Processing Facility. The composting
facility will be diversified to receive pre- and post-consumer food waste, either as
source-separated material or co-collected with yard waste from local residences
Construction and Demolition/Inert Debris (CDI) Facility Report
The Facility Report is utilized to describe the relocation and expansion of the CDI
processing facility.
