City of Riverbank
Development Services
Administrative Assistant
(209) 863-7127

Office hours Monday – Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Closed every Friday

From: Nathan Gustus <nate.gustus@sitelogiq.com>
Sent: Friday, February 23, 2024 2:38 PM
To: Julissa Garcia <jgarcia@riverbank.org>
Cc: Janette Vasquez <jvasquez@riverbank.org>
Subject: RE: City of Riverbank Solar - WWTP Encroachment Permit Revision

Julissa,

The encroachment permit for the wastewater treatment plant has been approved, but I would like
to revise our plan for the site.

In order to obtain approval from the San Joaquin Environmental Health Dept for being able to install
our ballasted solar system, we need to send them a report that essentially confirms that the dump
site has been contained and is not a threat to public health. To do that, we need to perform work on
site that can define the extents of the dump. The attached site characterization plan was just
recently approved by the County. On pg. 12, it shows where we need to pothole test pits and
perform auger borings. I would like to request that the potholing and auger borings shown below be
included in the existing encroachment permit.

Would you like me to modify the existing encroachment permit application in any way, or can you
simply present our site characterization work plan to the inspector for review?

Thank you so much,
Nate
