All affiliates manage hazardous materials and waste from receipt (or generation) <br /> through final use or disposal. <br /> POLICY <br /> It is the policy of Sutter Valley Area to comply with all Federal, state, and local regulations. To accomplish <br /> this the Hazardous Materials and Waste Management Program has been developed to comply with <br /> Federal standards, laws and regulations of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA),the Department <br /> of Transportation (DOT), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) as well as any <br /> other laws and regulations required under Cal/OSHA,the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), <br /> California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) and The Joint Commission (TJC) <br /> Management of the Environment of Care Standards. <br /> SCOPE <br /> This policy applies to the Sutter Valley Area (SVA) composed of: <br /> • Memorial Hospital Los Banos <br /> Hazardous Materials&Waste Management Education Policy.
