SAN J 0 A Q I I I Irl Environmental Health Department <br /> CCUN r <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> DIRT MOVERS 1 1930 W FREMONT ST, STOCKTON October 31, 2023 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 104 CCR 66262.34(d)(2)No modified contingency plan. <br /> OBSERVATION: Modified contingency plan information was not posted at the facility. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in <br /> areas directly involved in the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency <br /> telephone number of the emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the <br /> telephone number of the fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately post the modified contingency plan information or keep a copy of a complete <br /> consolidated emergency response/contingency plan on-site. Provide a statement to the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department that the correction is complete. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 106 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to train employees on waste handling and emergency procedures. <br /> OBSERVATION: At the time of inspection, it could not be demonstrated that employees who handle hazardous <br /> waste were properly trained.When asked how employees dispose of contaminated materials used to clean spills, <br /> they replied that they put them in the trash. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br /> waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br /> emergencies. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train the employees.
