Provide a statement to the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department that the correction is complete. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 106 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to train employees on waste handling and emergency procedures. <br /> OBSERVATION: At the time of inspection, it could not be demonstrated that employees who handle hazardous <br /> waste were properly trained.When asked how employees dispose of contaminated materials used to clean spills, <br /> they replied that they put them in the trash. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br /> waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br /> emergencies. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train the employees.
