Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil filters or fuel filters. <br /> OBSERVATION: Containers of used metal oil or fuel filters out of compliance with the storage rules were observed <br /> on-site. The following used metal oil or fuel filter containers were on-site: <br /> -One black 55-gallon drum containing drained used oil and gasoline filters was missing an accumulation start date. <br /> -One blue 55-gallon drum containing drained used oil and fuel filters was missing an accumulation start date. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: <br /> Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66266.130 Management of Used Oil Filters. <br /> California Health&Safety Code section 25250.22 Fuel Filters <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately drain all metal oil and fuel filters of free-flowing liquid, store them in closed, <br /> rainproof containers. Label the container with the words"drained used oil filters"or"used gasoline filters", <br /> depending on the contents. Mark the container with an accumulation start date. Dispose of all used filters stored <br /> on-site greater than one year. Used filters not stored, handled and disposed of according to this section are <br /> regulated as hazardous waste. Provide a corrective action statement, disposal records and supporting <br /> documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection.
