5- Day Written Report <br /> Facility Name and Address Implementing Agency COPA <br /> Safeway # 1769 San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> 2808 Country Club Blvd <br /> Stockton CA 95204 <br /> UST Owner' s or Operator' s name and telephone number : <br /> Safeway Inc 925 469 7000 <br /> Types , quantities , and concentrations of hazardous materials released : <br /> 5 Gallons of regular fuel <br /> Date of Release Date Release was Discovered Date Release was Stopped <br /> 11 / 14/23 11 / 14/23 @8 : 30am 11 / 14/23 @8 : 32am <br /> Descriptions of actions taken to control and/or stop the release : <br /> Due to a delivery driver error, about 5 gallons of regular fuel was spilled . They used absorbent , <br /> spill pads and booms . There was a drain nearby and it was pumped out as a precaution even though <br /> there did not appear to be any fuel in the drain . US Ecology responded to the spill later that afternoon under the <br /> supervision of a representative from San Joaquin County Environmental Health . <br /> The spill area was cleaned again , and the resultant waste was collected in a 55-gallon drum . <br /> Description of corrective and remedial actions , including investigations which were <br /> undertaken and will be conducted to determine the nature and extent of soil , ground water <br /> or surface water contamination due to the release : <br /> N/A <br /> The method (s ) of cleanup implemented to date , proposed cleanup actions , and a schedule <br /> for implementing the proposed actions : <br /> Absorbant , spill pads and booms . <br />
