4 Sample Canister-sampling 1 Heavy Lifting Use a dolly,when necessary,to move FHSB Section III-EE <br /> prep,collection and shipping canisters to and from your vehicle. Practice <br /> good lifting techniques and keep your back <br /> straight. Avoid twisting or awkward <br /> movements/positions. Remove canisters <br /> from the box and transport individually.If the <br /> box or other equipment are too heavy, <br /> request assistance in lifting. <br /> 2 Cuts or lacerations from Use appropriate cutting tools such as safety <br /> opening the box of canisters knives and cut away from your body when <br /> opening the box. <br /> 3 Pinch points Use proper tools for adjusting canister <br /> valves. Wear gloves when necessary <br /> 4 Limited visibility-evening Have a flashlight available or a head lamp for <br /> hours hands free light. Try and schedule work <br /> during daylight hours and end sampling <br /> events early enough to allow for clean up <br /> before dusk. <br /> 5 Sub-Slab soil vapor sampling 1 Slips,trips,falls.Pinch Wear work gloves when handling FHSB Section III- <br /> points.Eye injury from equipment/materials.Practice good AA,CC,L,Electrical <br /> debris.
