The index transmissivity is the hydraulic transmissivity of the geocomposite measured using water at 68°F <br />±3°F (20°C ±1.5°C) with a hydraulic gradient of 0.1, under a compressive stress of 10,000 psf. For the test, the <br />geocomposite shall be sandwiched between stainless steel plates. The minimum test duration shall be 15 <br />minutes. <br />3. The performance transmissivity is the hydraulic transmissivity of the geocomposite measured using water at <br />68°F ±3°F (20°C ±1.5°C) with a hydraulic gradient of 0.5, under a compressive stress of 10,000 psf. For the <br />test, the geocomposite shall be sandwiched between a layer of 60-mil HDPE geomembrane and operations layer <br />soil. The minimum test duration shall be 100 hours and the report for the test results shall include <br />measurements at intervals over the entire test duration.
