Subbotnikova : <br /> We are pleased to inform you that an additional truck scale and access lane is being installed at <br /> North County Landfill ' s scale house ( Figure 1 ) . The new truck scale will be in commission by mid - <br /> August . <br /> The purpose of the additional truck scale is to reduce incoming traffic- back up, by processing <br /> customer loads quickly . The new scale will also act as a back- up scale to the existing truck scale . An <br /> express kiosk will be installed at the new scale to process registered collector transactions and <br /> communicate with the customers . The access lane , east of the new scale , will be used to process <br /> only self- haul pick- up loads during peak hours .
