<br />21190 - Postclosure Land Use
<br />Comments: A hose was observed on the northwest corner of parcel 19812009. Asphalt has been placed on the
<br />southwest corner of parcel 19812008 over the area of the T29 waste pile.
<br />A. All postclosure land use activities must be performed in a manner which protects public health and safety and
<br />prevents public contact with exposed waste. All proposed postclosure land use activities shall be submitted to the
<br />enforcement agency for review and approval prior to commencement.
<br />B. All proposed postclosure land uses, other than non -irrigated open space, on sites implementing closure or on
<br />closed sites shall be submitted to the EA, RWQCB, local air district and local land use agency. The EA shall
<br />review and approve proposed postclosure land uses if the project involves structures within 1,000 feet of the
<br />disposal area, structures on top of waste, modification of the low permeability layer, or irrigation over waste.
<br />C. Halt any on site irrigation of parcel 19812009. Halt construction activity on the southwest corner of parcel
<br />19812008. Southwest corner of parcel 19812008 and parcel 19812009 must remain non -irrigated open space.
<br />Any use of this land must be submitted to EA, RWQCB, local air district and local land use agency for approval.
<br />Regardless of removal of all other on site waste, this site will not be considered for clean -closure due to non -
<br />removal of T29 waste pile.

<br />1.) Vegetation levels on parcel 19812009 were low.
<br />2.) Well pads and piping for wells located on the southeast side of the parcel 19812009 were in the process of being
<br />removed (wells remain intact).
<br />3.) Regardless of removal of all other on site waste, this site will not be considered for clean -closure due to non -removal
<br />of T29 waste pile.
