All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: Safety signs lack name of facility, pool hours and occupant capacity. Sign is also fading. Provide missing <br />information today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br />OBSERVATIONS: One of the life rings lacks a rope. A rope that is at minimum the length of the width of the pool is needed. <br />Provide today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br />minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br />rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br />(CCR 65540) <br /> #21 Water Level <br />OBSERVATIONS: A weir on the northernmost skimmer on the deep end of the pool is only partially attached. Make sure <br />weir is completely attached. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The pool operator shall ensure that the pool water is maintained at a level that will allow continuous removal of <br />surface debris through the pool skimming system. (CCR 65533) <br /> #27 Pool Equipment Room <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed a pipe in the pump room that has water dripping onto the ground. Repair/replace to stop the <br />leak within 2 weeks. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep ancillary facilities well maintained. (CCR 65535) All filters, valves, pumps, strainers <br />and equipment shall be readily accessible for repair and replacement.
