All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: Safety sign is lacking hours of operation, capacity and site address. All safety signs shall be posted. <br />Correct today. (REPEAT) <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br />OBSERVATIONS: A life ring with a throw rope and a 12 foot body hook were lacking. Pool is currently closed for the <br />season. Ensure pool has a life ring and body hook on site when pool opens. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br />minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br />rope.
