All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #24 VGB Suction Covers MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Equalizer cover below the shallow skimmer was missing. Replace cover today. Close pool area until the <br />corrections are made and verified by this department. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All suction outlets shall be equipped with suction covers that meet the applicable ANSI/APSP-16 performance <br />standards. (CBC 3137B) <br /> #37 Electrical Hazards MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: The ground fault circuit interrupter (GFI) does not work when tested. Repair GFI so that it is in good <br />working order today and replace light if necessary. Close pool area until the corrections are made and verified by this <br />department. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Electrical equipment installed in the water, walls, deck, or equipment room of a public pool shall comply with <br />California Electrical Code. (CEC 680.4) Light fixtures installed in the pool that operate at more than 15 volts shall be protected by a ground <br />fault circuit interrupter. (CBC 3160B) <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: A "Keep Gate Closed" safety sign was lacking on the entrance doors. All safety signs shall be posted. <br />Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified.
