24 December 2014
AGE Project No. 14-3154

Advanced GeoEnvironmental Inc.

cement grout from the total depth to surface grade. Borings advanced below the ground
water table were abandoned with grout utilizing tremie procedures.

Under inspection by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
(SJCEHD), soil borings were backfilling with Portland type II cement from the total depth
to surface grade.

3.0. FINDINGS

Soil stratigraphy was determined from field data collected during advancement of the
soil borings; hydrocarbon and metals impact to soil was quantified by laboratory
analyses of the soil and groundwater samples.

3.1. STRATIGRAPHY

Based on the data collected from borings AB1 through AB21:

Generally, tan, brown to dark brown, silts and clays were generally encountered
between surface grade and approximately 15 feet bsg. Fine to coarse, well graded,
gravelly sands were encountered at depths between 15 feet and 20 feet bsg. Silt and
clay was observed in the deepest soil samples collected at 25 feet bsg. Saturated soil
was encountered from borings at depths of 15 feet bsg.

No hydrocarbon-like odors were observed in samples collected from borings. Organic
vapor was not detected from any soil samples collected from borings AB1 through AB21
using a PID, beyond background values. During boring advancement field PID readings
did not detect organic vapors above 0 parts per million volume (ppmv), with the
exception of the five-foot sample at boring location AB18-5 (0.6 ppmv).

Boring logs are included in Appendix A.

3.2. FINDINGS

Constituents of concern were not reported at or above laboratory reporting limits in any
of the analyzed soil samples collected from the borings. Laboratory analytical results
are included in Appendix E.

A total of twenty-one (21) soil samples were analyzed from borings AB1 through AB7 for
the TPH-d/o constituents listed. A total of fifteen (15) soil samples were analyzed from
borings AB8 through AB21 for the TPH-gasoline, d/o constituents listed. Target analytes
for semi-volatile organic compounds quantified as fuel oil, were not detected in any of
the soil samples collected during the December 2014 investigation.
