Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for any <br /> applicable permits and requirements . <br /> 2 . Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br /> commencing work . All new addenda supersede the previous ones . <br /> 3 . Provide written notification to ust sjgov . org to arrange the following inspection appointments ( a 48 - <br /> hour notice is required for inspection appointments ) . <br /> a . Sensor functionality : Functionality of the monitoring system must be verified to ensure that <br /> monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of Title 23 California Code of <br /> Regulations and the Health & Safety Code . A copy of the alarm history shall be printed prior to <br /> performing the cold start of the monitoring panel , and made available at the time of EHD <br /> inspection . <br /> b . Verification of the dispenser footprints contained by the under dispenser containment sumps <br /> ( UDCs ) . Any potential leaks from piping and fuel filters must drain directly into UDCs . <br /> c . Visual inspection of the piping within the dispensers <br /> d . Verification of overfill prevention : Measurement of drop tubes to verify 95 % tank volume <br /> shut off , verification of external audible /visual alarm activation when tank is 90 % full , or <br /> other approved method . Ensure that all pertinent tank charts and calculations are available <br /> for review at the time of inspection . <br /> e . Verification that ball float ( s ) , if installed , do not interfere with the installed flapper valve . <br /> 4 . Any individual performing the work of a service technician must meet the following qualifications : <br /> a . Possess or be employed by a person who possesses one of several permissible valid , current <br /> contractor ' s licenses issued by the Contractors State License Board ( may be issued to the <br /> installation company ) , or a Tank Tester ' s license issued to the individual by the State Water <br /> Board <br /> 1868 E .
