Contact the local fire district , the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District , and the local <br /> community development department for any applicable permits and requirements . <br /> 2 . Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for written approval <br /> prior to commencing work . All new submittals supersede previous ones . <br /> 3 . Email notification to ustOsigov . orq to arrange the following inspection appointments . <br /> All appointments must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance . <br /> a . Corrosion protection : Verify corrosion protection for direct bury spill bucket prior to <br /> backfilling . <br /> b . Spill bucket test : Verify minimum 5-gallon capacity . Pass a one hour hydrostatic test ( or <br /> equivalent) . Verify proper drainage method . <br /> c . Verification of overfill prevention : Measurement of the 91 , Diesel West , and Diesel East <br /> drop tubes to verify 95 % tank volume shut off, verification of external audible/visual alarm <br /> activation when tank is 90 % full , or other approved method . Ensure that all pertinent tank <br /> charts and calculations are available for review at the time of inspection . <br /> d . Verification that ball float(s) , if installed , do not interfere with the installed flapper valve . <br /> e . Since concrete will be broken near the 91 and Diesel West tanks , a secondary containment <br /> test must be performed on the 91 and Diesel West tanks once concrete is poured in <br /> accordance with the manufacturer' s guidelines . <br /> 1868 E .
