From: Gooderham,Aaron[EHD] agooderham@sjgov.org
Subject: RE:1150 W Turner Rd-nitrate loading study
Date: October 24,2023 at 10:54 AM
To: Haley hmayes@gasarehiteets.com
Cc: Douglas Thornley dthornley5999mail.eom, Leslie Bloudoff leslie@nostravdawinery.com, Katie Bloudoff-Indeiicato
katie@nostravitawinery.com
Thank you for the information, I reviewed the SSNL Study Addendum (SR0080641)
submitted in 2019 and it appears that the staff and customer load are accounted for. An
addendum to the SSNL is not required if the septic system use will remain the same.
Regarding the existing tasting room and septic system: The study estimates a load of 2400
gallons per day from a winery event with 120 people additional to the normal load from
staff. The owner may want to consider bringing in portable toilets for special events and
getting the 1600 gallon tank pumped before special events.
The new 2500 gallon septic tank and leach field is designed to handle the surge flow from
the winery events as indicated on the permit. The owner may want to consider having
guests use this facility in addition to the wine tasting room septic tank.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Aaron Gooderham — Senior REHS
Environmental Health Department— County of San Joaquin
Website: https:llwww.sjgov.org1departmentlenvhealthl
Main Line: (209) 468-3420
From: Haley <hmayes@gasarchitects.com>
Sent: Monday, October 23, 2023 2:49 PM
To: Gooderham, Aaron [EHD] <agooderham@sjgov.org>
Cc: Douglas Thornley<dthornley59@gmail.com>
Subject: Re: 1156 W Turner Rd - nitrate loading study
Hi Aaron,
Have you had a chance to review this? Looking for confirmation that we are good to go with
the SSNL Study that your office currently has on file.
Thank you,
Haley Mayes
GORING&STGA,IA ARCHITECTS
729 Heinz Ave, Suite 1
Berkeley, CA 94710
tel: 510 848 0895
cell: 517 775 7844
www.gasarchitects.com
On Oct 17, 2023, at 1:05 PM, Haley<hmayesl@gasarchitects.com> wrote:
Aaron,
