All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #24 VGB Suction Covers MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: The equalizer line cover was lacking. Install cover today. Close pool area until the corrections are made <br />and verified by this department. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All suction outlets shall be equipped with suction covers that meet the applicable ANSI/APSP-16 performance <br />standards. (CBC 3137B) <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: A safety sign on the gate that says "Keep Gate Closed" is lacking and the safety sign is faded and <br />illegible. All safety signs shall be posted. The following signs are required: <br />- No lifeguard on duty <br />- 911 <br />- Capacity <br />- Diarrhea sign <br />- CPR <br />- No diving (6 feet or less) <br />- Name & address <br />- Keep gate closed (on gates) <br />Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br />OBSERVATIONS: The body hook is in the pump enclosure. Keep body hook in pool area so that is is readily accessible for <br />use if necessary. Correct today. (REPEAT) <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br />minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br />rope.
