Liberty <br />Rd. <br />The southeast area mentioned was not characterized (sampled or <br />excavated) while I was there or to my knowledge. Please clarify. <br /> <br />The Revised Work Plan stated “ The main areas where the site <br />characterization was performed were primarily north of the <br />residence and to a lesser extent in the southeast area between <br />the residence and East Liberty Road.” <br />SET agrees with the SJCDEH comment and the sentence in <br />question has been revised to remove reference the southeast <br />area as follows: ”The main areas where the site characterization <br />was performed were primarily north of the residence.” <br /> <br />Page 5, Objective and Scope Section <br />1.2 <br />3. <br />Specific Comment <br />Pg 5 of SHSP states “the excavated soil from the excavation will <br />be monitored and segregated as applicable, stockpiled and once <br />characterized will be loaded for off-site transportation to a <br />licensed disposal or recycling facility or remain on-site as fill.” <br />Please update the information since the excavated soil cannot be <br />used as fill. <br />The sentence in question has been revised to remove reference <br />to use of the soil on-site as follows: “The excavated soil from the <br />excavation will be monitored and segregated as applicable, <br />stockpiled and once characterized will be loaded for off-site <br />transportation to a licensed disposal or recycling facility”. <br />Appendix B -, SHSP, Page 5, <br />Removal Action <br />Section 4.5
