Monitoring results should be recorded. Documentation should include instrument and <br />calibration information, time, measurement results, personnel monitored, and place/location where measurement is taken (e.g., <br />“breathing zone”, “at surface”, etc.). <br />c If the measured percent of O2 is less than 10, an accurate LEL reading will not be obtained. More stringent percent LEL and O2 action levels <br />are required for confined-space entry. <br />d Noise monitoring and audiometric testing also required. <br />6.3 Exposure Monitoring Plan <br />Before any field activities commence, wind direction indicator may be used to ensure the direction that <br />personnel will move when instructed to do so or in an emergency. This wind measurement will be <br />followed by the sampling of the general background levels of gasoline, VOCs, dust etc.
