All new submittals supersede previous ones. <br />3.Email notification to ust@sjgov.org to arrange the following inspection appointments. <br />All appointments must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance. <br />a.Corrosion protection: Verify corrosion protection for direct bury spill bucket prior to <br />backfilling. <br />b.Spill bucket test: Verify minimum 5-gallon capacity. Pass a one hour hydrostatic test (or <br />equivalent). Verify proper drainage method. <br />c.Verification of overfill prevention: Measurement of drop tubes to verify 95% tank volume <br />shut off, verification of external audible/visual alarm activation when tank is 90% full, or <br />other approved method. Ensure that all pertinent tank charts and calculations are available <br />for review at the time of inspection. <br />d.Verification that ball float(s), if installed, do not interfere with the installed flapper valve. <br />e.Since concrete will be broken near the 87 tank, a secondary containment test must be <br />performed on the 87 tank once concrete is poured in accordance with the manufacturer's <br />guidelines. <br />The facility cannot receive fuel in the 87 tank prior to the EHD inspection and approval. <br />4.Any individual installing underground storage systems or components must possess, or work <br />under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site at <br />all times while work is being performed who possesses, all of the following: <br />1868 E.
