THIS AND ANY OTHER DEMOLITION DRAWINGS ARE NOT INTENDED TO BE ALL INCLUSIVE AND <br />MAY NOT DEFINE THE SCOPE OF ALL DEMOLITION WORK REQUIRED FOR THIS PROJECT. <br />DEMOLITION DRAWINGS ARE SHOWN ONLY TO AID THE CONTRACTOR IN PREPARING FOR THE <br />BID AND PERFORMING THE WORK. CONTRACTOR SHALL EXAMINE ALL CONSTRUCTION <br />DOCUMENTS AND VISIT THE SITE DURING THE BIDDING PROCESS AS REQUIRED TO DETERMINE <br />THE FULL SCOPE OF THE WORK, ALL ITEMS ELECTRICAL, HVAC, PLUMBING, STRUCTURAL , <br />ARCHITECTURAL, FINISH ETC. GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO REMOVE EXISTING CONSTRUCTION TO ACHIEVE A CLEAN SPACE <br />READY FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION. <br />3. VISIT SITE, EXAMINE EXISTING CONDITIONS AND CONDITIONS SURROUNDING SITE, DETERMINE <br />REQUIREMENTS UNDER WHICH WORK SHALL BE PERFORMED. <br />4. PROTECT AND MAINTAIN ALL ELEMENTS WHICH ARE TO REMAIN OR WHICH ARE TO REMAIN <br />UNTIL NEW PERMANENT INSTALLATIONS ARE COMPLETE. <br />5. TAKE PRECAUTIONS NECESSARY TO PROTECT ADJOINING SPACE FROM EXCESSIVE DUST AND <br />DEBRIS, AND ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FROM DAMAGES RESULTING FROM NEGLIGENCE OF <br />THESE ITEMS. <br />6. CLEAN AND PROTECT CONSTRUCTION IN PROGRESS AND ADJOINING MATERIALS IN PLACE. <br />7. APPLY PROTECTIVE COVERING WHERE REQUIRED TO ENSURE PROTECTION FROM DAMAGE <br />OR DETERIORATION. <br />8. IF UNANTICIPATED MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, OR STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS CONFLICT WITH <br />THE INTENDED FUNCTION OR DESIGN, INVESTIGATE AND MEASURE BOTH NATURE AND EXTENT <br />OF THE CONFLICT. SUBMIT REPORT TO THE DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN WRITTEN DETAIL. <br />REARRANGE SCHEDULE AS NECESSARY TO CONTINUE OVERALL JOB PROGRESS. <br />9. REMOVE FROM BUILDING SITE ALL DEBRIS, RUBBISH AND MATERIALS RESULTING FROM <br />DEMOLITION. TRANSPORT AND LEGALLY DISPOSE OF OFF-SITE. <br />10. REMOVE AND DISPOSE OF ALL ABANDONED EQUIPMENT IN SPACE. <br />EXTERIOR DIMENSIONS SHOWN ARE TO FACE TO EDGE OF SLAB, ALL OTHER DIMENSIONS ARE TO <br />FACE OF FINISH UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. <br />GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO DISPOSE OF ALL WASTE DURING DEMOLITION IN ACCORDANCE <br />WITH ALL APPLICABLE JURISDICTIONS, CODES AND ORDINANCES. <br />GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO FIELD LOCATED AND DEACTIVATE IF, IN WALLS TO BE DEMOLISHED, <br />ALL EXISTING "HOT' ELECTRICAL WIRING PRIOR TO DEMOLITION. <br />CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS ON SITE AND NOTIFY DESIGN PROFESSIONALS OF <br />ANY DISCREPANCIES IMMEDIATELY, PRIOR TO PROCEEDING. <br />ALL EXISTING WALL FINISHES THROUGHOUT THE SAID WORK (UNIT 15) SHALL BE REMOVED. <br />REFER TO OWNER FOR COORDINATION OF ALL PROPOSED MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL AND <br />PLUMBING EQUIPMENT. <br />CONTRACTOR SHALL PERFORM AN THOROUGH INVESTIGATION OF ALL EXISTING FLOOR, WALL <br />AND/OR ROOF FRAMING SYSTEMS WITH -IN THE ARE OF FIRE DAMAGED AREA AND REPLACE <br />ANY DAMAGED STRUCTURAL SYSTEMS. <br />Demolition F-11 <br />Notes: <br />1 Completely remove existing finishes, studs and all related accessories. Leave all <br />adjacent surfaces clean and ready to accept new construction and/or finishes. <br />2 Completely remove door, door frame, hardware and all related accessories. Salvage if <br />directed by owner. <br />3 Completely remove plumbing fixtures. Terminate/ cap -off existing water supply lines <br />inside existing wall (Lavatory), provide/install stainless steel access cover for future <br />accessibility. At existing toilet remove and adjust location to meet current ADA requirements, <br />refer to Floor Plan. Existing waste water lines shall be terminated behind adjacent finishes, <br />provide cover plates if so directed by the owner. <br />4 Completely remove existing grab bars. Reuse if deemed salvageable. <br />5 Remove existing ceiling grid, tiles and all associated items as required for installation of <br />proposed ceiling systems. <br />Remove ALL existing fluorescent lighting fixtures, replace with "LED". <br />7 Remove existing flooring, prepare substrates to receive new finishes for proposed <br />Tenant improvements. <br />8 Remove existing supply and return air diffusers, salvage if deemed reusable.
