All other repairs must have a permit submitted to and approved by <br /> the EHD prior to beginning work. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately obtain a permit from the EHD for the C1 87 fill sensor replacement. A <br /> "Failure to Obtain a Permit"penalty applies. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 301 HSC 25292.1(a)Failure to operate UST system to prevent unauthorized releases including leaks,spills and overfills. <br /> OBSERVATION: The 20,000 gallon 87 tank fill sump sensor was found to be in alarm since 1/22/2024 and actions <br /> have not been taken to address the alarm. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The underground storage tank system shall be operated to prevent unauthorized <br /> releases, including spills and overfills. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately contact a properly licensed,trained, and certified contractor to address the <br /> alarm under permit and inspection of the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 302 CCR 2630(d), 2641(a)Leak detection equipment not installed/maintained/located to detect leaks at earliest <br /> opportunity. <br /> OBSERVATION: The 20,000 gallon 87 tank fill sump sensor sensor was raised approximately 36 inches off the <br /> lowest point of the sump and not located to detect a leak at the earliest opportunity. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Monitoring equipment shall be maintained to be able to detect a leak at the earliest <br /> possible opportunity. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The sensor was relocated to the lowest point of the sump by the service technician. <br /> Ensure that all monitoring equipment is maintained and located to detect a leak at the earliest opportunity. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> FA0007571 PR0506650 SCO01 02/12/2024 <br /> EHD 23-01 Rev.12/06/2021 Page 8 of 9 Underground Storage Tank Program OIR <br /> 1868 E.
