Ll <br />InspectionReport Comments: <br />Routine monthly inspection done on this date and the following was noted: <br />Ll <br />1. Previous area of concern regarding the ground material being on site for over 72 hours has been corrected. The <br />ground material was moved and put out into windrows. <br />2. Previous area of concern regarding the metal concentration of copper from the finished compost product <br />exceeding the allowable limit has been corrected. The finished compost product was reprocessed and another <br />sample was submitted for analysis. The analysis results showed that the product did not exceed any maximum <br />metal concentration. <br />3. Inspector drove south of the facility along Austin Road and could detect slight odors resulting from the composting <br />operation. It was a windy day and the windrow turning and forming operations had already stopped prior to the <br />inspection. <br />4. There was no track -out mud observed in front of the facility along Austin Road. <br />5. The fly population was minimal. Fly traps were observed throughout the facility. <br />6. The water truck was observed on site. <br />7. There was separation between the manually screened greenwaste pile and the unscreened greenwaste received. <br />8. All records were available for review. <br />9. The temperature range of the greenwaste and ground material was 74 F to 80 F and 99 F to 105 F respectively. <br />The temperature range of the windrows and overs was 103 F to 146 F and 70 F to 72 F respectively. The <br />temperature range of the finished compost and the finished compost product was 81 F to 96 F and 100 F to <br />107 F respectively. <br />CalRecycle Solid Waste Information System (SWIS) 2 of 2 <br />
