Hazelton Avenue <br />Stockton, CA 95205 <br />RE: Forward Resource Recovery Facility Annual Reporting Requirements Summary 2017 <br />Dear Mr. McClellon <br />As required in Section 16, paragraph (n) of the Solid Waste Facility Permit (39 -AA -0020) issued <br />to the Forward Resource Recovery Facility (Forward R&R) on January 22, 2015, the <br />owner/operator is required to submit an annual report to the LEA summarizing all reporting <br />requirements. As further defined in the e-mail correspondence between Forward and Mr. <br />Harprit Mattu, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department dated February 14, 2018; <br />the report is to include the following: <br />• Monthly total (in tons) of recyclables received at the facility <br />• Monthly total (in tons) of yardwaste received at the facility <br />• Monthly total volume (in tons) of overages generated as part of the composting <br />operation <br />• Monthly total (in tons) of finished compost sold <br />• Finished compost quality laboratory sample summary <br />• Number and details regarding loads of recyclables and/or yardwaste rejected as part of <br />the load checking process <br />• Summary of complaints received <br />• Summary of special occurrences <br />Monthly Total Recyclables and Yardwaste Received, Overages Generated, and Finished <br />Compost Sold: <br />Summarized in Table 1 below are the monthly totals (in tons) of recyclables and yardwaste <br />received at the Forward R&R), the volume (per calendar quarter) of overages (plastic, glass, <br />oversize woody debris) removed by screening from the compost prior to sale, and the volume <br />(per calendar quarter) of finished compost (marketed as "Super Humus Compost") sold in 2017. <br />
