The applicant must submit an application for new/changed service
to the District to request sanitary sewer service. The District will review the application and may
issue a conditional Will Serve letter to the applicant. The Project is located within the District's
service area and the District believes that capacity in the District's facilities exists to serve the
project.
With respect to the Community Development Department's request for comments to the Project
applications and hearing, we offer the following:
1. The Project applicant must submit the attached request for new/change sewer service
application to the District for review. After the application is reviewed, the District may
issue a conditional Will Serve letter with the calculated capacity charges, inspection fees,
and sewer charges. The District believes that there is capacity to serve the project, with
the potential for limited improvements to the District's systems needed to expand or
modify that service to the Project site.
2. For service to be provided to the Project the applicant will be required to design and
construct all necessary sanitary sewer improvements (potentially including paying for any
identified modifications to the District's existing sewer system if applicable) in
accordance with the District's General Ordinance and Standard Specifications, including
paying all relevant fees including capacity charges and fees for improvement plan review
and inspection.
