A NJ O A Q U l N Environmental Health Department <br /> COUNTY— <br /> Underground Storage Tank Program Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> SJ CO PUBLIC WORKS CORP YARD* 1 1810 E HAZELTON AVE, STOCKTON March 05, 2024 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 302 CCR 2630(d), 2641(a)Leak detection equipment not installed/maintained/located to detect leaks at earliest <br /> opportunity. <br /> OBSERVATION: The 1/2 dispenser sensor was raised approximately 1-2 inches off the lowest point of the under <br /> dispenser containment and not located to detect a leak at the earliest opportunity. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Monitoring equipment shall be maintained to be able to detect a leak at the earliest <br /> possible opportunity. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The sensor was relocated to the lowest point of the sump by the service technician. <br /> Ensure that all monitoring equipment is maintained and located to detect a leak at the earliest opportunity. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 327 CCR 2638(a), 26410)Leak detection equipment not installed/calibrated/operated/maintained per manufacturer <br /> instructions. <br /> OBSERVATION: 1/2 dispenser sensor and diesel STP sump sensor were not properly installed according to <br /> manufacturer guidelines(Manual No: 576013-301 ? Revision: G) <br /> -1/2 dispenser sensor was positioned 1-2 inches above the lowest part of the UDC, suspended above the bottom <br /> surface of the UDC <br /> -Diesel STP sump sensor was not positioned in the lowest part of the sump <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All monitoring equipment shall be installed, calibrated, operated, and maintained in <br /> accordance with manufacturer's instructions, and certified for operability, proper operating condition, and proper <br /> calibration. Immediately contact a properly licensed and certified contractor to install equipment in accordance with <br /> manufacturer's instructions and certify for operability, proper operating condition, and proper calibration. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Ensure that all leak detection equipment is properly programmed and maintained at all <br /> times. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection.
