Disposal Facility (Site) Inspection Report (52) <br />Forward Landfill, Inc. (39 -AA -0015) <br />5/28/2025 <br />Notes: <br />1. The violation for 27 CCR Drainage and Erosion Control has been corrected. Erosion <br />channels with exposed waste were not observed. Erosion channels have been repaired. <br />2. The area of concern for 27 CCR 20700 Intermediate Cover has been corrected. Daylighting <br />was not observed near the old asbestos area or the northern slope of WMU-FU19. <br />3. Tarps, overs and soil are used for daily cover. <br />4. Litter observed in the area where heavy equipment is stored for repairs. Operator shall <br />have litter picked up and disposed properly. <br />5. The weather during the inspection was 62°F with a southeast wind of 10 mph. <br />6. Records were reviewed. <br />7. Track out was light and odor was moderate. <br />8. Gas wells GP- 21 and GP- 22 were measured for methane. The intermediate and deep <br />probes for GP- 21 were not measured due to the valves being inaccessible. Operator is aware <br />and will have the issue resolved. Methane was not detected at either of the gas wells. <br />9. WMU-FU24 was used as the active face. <br />10. Operator informed LEA of radiation load received by the landfill on May 20, 2025. The load <br />was transported by Gilton from Gilton Transfer Station (Stanislaus County). The load is <br />isolated and the proper agencies were notified, according to the operator. <br />11.
