Disposal Facility (Site) Inspection Report (52) <br />Forward Landfill, Inc. (39 -AA -0015) <br />7/28/2025 <br />Notes: <br />1. The LEA was notified that a Republic Services strike began on July 7, 2025 and ended on <br />July 18, 2025. Operations at the landfill continued through the strike. <br />2. Litter was not observed on neighboring properties. <br />3. Tarps, overs and soil are used for daily cover. <br />4. Litter observed on the west and east slope of WMU-FU19. Operator shall pick up litter and <br />dispose of appropriately. <br />5. The weather during the inspection was 70°F with a southeast wind of 6 mph. <br />6. Records were reviewed. <br />7. Track out was light and odor was light. <br />8. Gas wells GP- 6A and GP- 16 were measured for methane. Methane was not detected at <br />either of the gas wells. <br />9. WMU-FU24 was used as the active face. <br />10. Operator informed LEA of two radiation loads received at the landfill. One load was <br />received from Elder Creek Transfer Station on July 2, 2025 and the other load was received <br />from the City of Stockton (Sunrise) on July 4, 2025. Both loads have been isolated.
