Construction of an individual industrial water well under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development ( San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title , Section 9 . 601 . 010 ( b ) ) . <br /> 2 . If floor drains are required , they must be plumbed through a sand /oil separator and <br /> discharged to an above ground system approved by the Environmental Health <br /> Department . A registered engineer must design this system . The material collected in <br /> the above ground holding system must be analyzed for hazardous constituents prior to <br /> disposal . Specific test requirements may be obtained from the Environmental Health <br /> Department . The fee will be based on the current schedule at the time of payment . <br /> 3 . Any existing wells or septic systems to be abandoned shall be destroyed under permit <br /> and inspection by the EHD ( San Joaquin County Development Title , Section 9 - 605 . 010 <br /> & 9 - 601 . 020 ) . <br /> 4 . Any geotechnical drilling shall be conducted under permit and inspection by The <br /> Environmental Health Department ( San Joaquin County Development Title , Section 9 . <br /> 601 . 010 ( b ) and 9 - 601 . 020 ( i ) ) . <br /> 5 . Before any hazardous materials/waste can be stored or used onsite , the owner/operator <br /> must report the use or storage of these hazardous materials to the California <br /> Environmental Reporting System ( CERS ) at cers . calepa . ca . gov/ and comply with the <br /> laws and regulations for the programs listed below ( based on quantity of hazardous <br /> material in some cases ) .
