The following is an itemized list of hazardous materials violations that have not been <br /> addressed for advance auto as of February 29 , 2024 . <br /> Open violations from April 06 , 2022 inspection <br /> Violation #9 - Failed to annually review and certify that the HMBP is complete and accurate by the due date. <br /> OBSERVATION: The business plan information has not been reviewed and resubmitted in the California <br /> Environmental Reporting System (CERS ) annually by the due date , January 15 . <br /> - The 2022 business plan submittal was not submitted for year 2022 , the last submittal was 11 /24/2020 . <br /> - The 2021 business plan submittal was submitted on time on 11/24/2020 . <br /> - The 2020 business plan submittal was submitted late on 4/23/2020 . <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The hazardous materials inventory shall be submitted by January 15 of each calendar <br /> year and may be submitted beginning November 1 of the previous year . <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION : Immediately log into the CERS at http : //cers . calepa . ca . gov/, enter the correct or updated <br /> information , and submit to the EHD for approval . <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by ( date) . <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Violation #11 - Failed to provide or document initial and/or refresher training to appropriate personnel . <br /> OBSERVATION Annual training record documents were not observed on site during the inspection . Per <br /> Consolidated Emergency Response / Contingency Plan under section I . Employee Training "signed forms" are part <br /> of the employee training program . <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business plan shall include provisions for ensuring that appropriate personnel <br /> receive initial and annual refresher training . All employees shall be trained in safety procedures in the event of a <br /> release or threatened release of a hazardous material , including , but not limited to , familiarity with the following <br /> plans and procedures : <br /> (A) Immediate notification contacts to the appropriate local emergency response personnel and to the unified <br /> program agency. <br /> ( B ) Procedures for the mitigation of a release or threatened release to minimize any potential harm or damage to <br /> persons , property, or the environment <br /> ( C ) Evacuation plans and procedures , including immediate notice , for the business site . <br /> This training shall be documented electronically or by hard copy and shall be made available for a minimum of three <br /> years . <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION : Immediately provide employee training for appropriate personnel and submit a copy of the <br /> training records to the EHD . <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date) . <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br />
