Operators shall ensure that all personnel assigned to the operation shall be trained in <br /> subjects pertinent to operations and maintenance. <br /> 2. According to the facility Report of Composting Site Information (RCSI), section 3.3.2 <br /> (Training)states that employees are provided with and required to wear safety vests, hard <br /> hats, etc. <br /> 3. Conduct a training on wearing appropriate personal protective equipment(PPE)and the <br /> possible dangers resulting of not wearing the appropriate PPE. <br /> tnspec#ian ROport Comments �� � � � _' �,� <br /> f: <br /> Routine monthly inspection conducted on this date and the following was noted: <br /> 1. There was separation between the manually screened greenwaste pile and the unscreened <br /> greenwaste received. <br /> 2. The fly population was light. Fly traps were put on site. <br /> 3. All records were available for review. <br /> 4. The water truck was observed on site. <br /> 5. Inspector drove south of the facility along Austin Road and found no objectionable odors <br /> resulting from the composting operation. <br /> 6. The temperature of the greenwaste and overs was 105 F and 98 F respectively. The <br /> temperature range of the ground material and windrows was 107 F to 118 F and 115 F to <br /> 159 F respectively. The temperature range of the pre-screened product and the screened <br /> product was 129 F to 142 F and 113 F to 116 F respectively. <br />
