Cotulla : <br /> This letter is to inform you of Groundwater Technology , Inc . Is <br /> ( GTI ) proposed procedures for the subsurface investigation <br /> located at Les Caulkins Trucking in Lodi , California . No known <br /> leakage has occurred at this site , but at the owners ( Les <br /> Caulkins Trucking) request we propose to drill eight soil borings <br /> ( see enclosed Site Map) to complete a subsurface investigation . <br /> The purpose of this investigation is to analyze subsurface soils <br /> and groundwater ( should 'groundwater be encountered ) . The work <br /> steps GTI proposes to follow in conducting this investigation are <br /> listed below . <br /> " Drill a minimum of 8 soil borings up to 10 feet deep , <br /> in the vicinity of the diesel , waste oil tanks and in <br /> the area of the wash down pad,.- <br /> Obtain <br /> ad TObtain soil samples while drilling at approximately <br /> 5-foot intervals for field analysis for volatile <br /> organic components using a photo-ionization detector <br /> (PID) . <br /> " Backfill the borings with clean material or abandon as <br /> per San Joaquin County Department of Health <br /> regulations . j <br /> " Conduct laboratory analysis of two soil samples from <br /> each boring which exhibit the highest concentrations of <br /> hydrocarbon contamination as determined by field <br /> Officers throughout the U.S., Canada and Qverseos j <br /> Western offices in, Concord, CA; Tormnce, CA;Englewood, CO; Tempe, AZ <br />
