Compostable Materials Handling Operation and Facility Inspection <br /> Report (93) <br /> Central Valley Compost (39-AA-0051 ) <br /> NOTES: <br /> 1. Records were not reviewed onsite due to COVID 19 protocols. Operator provided records <br /> by email for the month of October 2021. <br /> 2. Track-out from the facility was light. <br /> 3. The odor was normal. <br /> 4. Fly traps were observed on the eastern and western fences. The fly population was light. <br /> 5. The following temperatures were measured during the inspection. Raw green waste was <br /> 72F. Ground green waste was 88F. Windrows ranged from 152F to 170F. The finished product <br /> ranged from 98F to 124F. The finished compost was 152F. Biosoil was 75F and overs were <br /> 105F. <br /> 6. Operator stated the facility is receiving new quotes for the perimeter fencing. <br /> 7. The temperature during the inspection was 57F with a wind speed of 1 mph. <br /> 8.
