Compostable Materials Handling Operation and Facility Inspection <br /> Report (93) <br /> Central Valley Compost (39-AA-0051 ) <br /> NOTES: <br /> 1. Operator provides records by email. <br /> 2. Track-out from the facility was moderate. Operator had a water truck wash the track out <br /> from Frewert Rd. and he mentioned a sweeper comes by the facility twice a week. Operator <br /> provided photographic evidence of correction after the inspection (see attachment). <br /> 3. The odor was light. <br /> 4. Fly traps were observed on the eastern and western fences. <br /> 5. The following temperatures were measured during the inspection. Raw green waste ranged <br /> from 65F to 90F. Windrows ranged from 143F to 162F. The finished product ranged from 130F <br /> to 132F. The Biosoil was 98F and overs were 132F. No ground green waste observed. <br /> 6. Operator stated the facility is receiving new quotes for the perimeter fence and the fence for <br /> the ponds. <br /> 7. The temperature during the inspection was 41 F with a wind speed of 5 mph. <br /> 8.
