Hazelton Avenue <br /> Stockton, CA 95205-6232 <br /> Re: Wet Weather Preparedness and Winter Operations Plan <br /> Central Valley Compost Facility <br /> Facility Number 39-AA-0051 <br /> Dear Ms. Subbotnikova: <br /> USA Waste of California, Inc. submits the following Wet Weather Preparedness and Winter <br /> Operations Plan in accordance with Solid Waste Facility Permit(SWFP) Facility Number 39- <br /> AA-0051, Section 16. <br /> The following describes primary actions taken to ensure Wet Weather Preparedness at the facility: <br /> • Litter Fencing <br /> o The site has installed permanent litter fencing along the east side of the facility. <br /> • Litter Collection <br /> o Litter will be removed from all concrete lined ditches. <br /> • Street Sweeping <br /> o The site has increased the frequency of street sweeping to further minimize track <br /> out. <br /> • BMP's <br /> o Strategic use of BMP's to prevent litter from entering concrete lined ditches. <br />
