Construction of an individual domestic water well under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development (San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title, Section 9-601.010 (b)). <br /> 5. The existing private water wells shall be tested for nitrates with the results submitted to <br /> the Environmental Health Department prior to recordation of the Parcel Map. Samples <br /> are to be taken and analyzed by a State-approved laboratory. (San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-601.0200)). <br /> 6. Any existing wells or septic systems to be abandoned shall be destroyed under permit <br /> and inspection by the EHD (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-605.010 <br /> & 9-601.020). <br /> 7.
