Bruella Road, Acampo WP0043043
Sampling Date:
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) requires well sampling as part
of the permitting process for any new or replacement domestic well. San Joaquin County Well
Standards states: "to determine quality of water produced by a new water well, it shall be
sampled by the EHD for bacteriological and chemical analysis after development, the installation
of the well pump, and disinfection". The sampling service fee was included with the well permit
issuance.
We have sampled your new well and have received your results. Your water sample was
analyzed by Fruit Growers Laboratory; a state certified lab.
DBCP is found in the ground water sample above the MCL, this is a discontinued pesticide that
has contaminated certain aquifers. Please see attached information regarding DBCP health
effects.
The well water meets current general mineral secondary drinking water standards.
For more information and possible health effects, please refer to the attachments along with the
full analytical results. If you have any questions regarding your well water test results you may
contact Aaron Gooderham, St. Registered Environmental Health Specialist at (209) 616-3062.
Qov T'1
Steven Shih, REHS
Program Coordinator
1868 E.
