No submittal was made for the <br />2020 reporting year with the most recent submittal during the 2020 reporting period in 11/29/2018. The 2022 <br />submittal was completed on 5/12/2022. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: The hazardous materials inventory shall be submitted by January 15 of each calendar <br />year and may be submitted beginning November 1 of the previous year. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately log into the CERS at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, enter the correct or updated <br />information, and submit to the EHD for approval. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 11 HSC 25505(a)(4) Failed to provide or document initial and/or refresher training to appropriate personnel. <br />OBSERVATION: Inadequate initial/refresher training was observed for the year of 2021. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business plan shall include provisions for ensuring that appropriate personnel <br />receive initial and annual refresher training. All employees shall be trained in safety procedures in the event of a <br />release or threatened release of a hazardous material, including, but not limited to, familiarity with the following <br />plans and procedures: <br />(A) Immediate notification contacts to the appropriate local emergency response personnel and to the unified <br />program agency. <br />(B) Procedures for the mitigation of a release or threatened release to minimize any potential harm or damage to <br />persons, property, or the environment. <br />(C) Evacuation plans and procedures, including immediate notice, for the business site. <br />This training shall be documented electronically or by hard copy and shall be made available for a minimum of three <br />years. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Ensure employees are provided training for appropriate personnel and maintain <br />documentation of initial and/or refresher training to appropriate personnel. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />FA0010001 PR0520014 SC001 03/19/2024 <br />EHD 19-01 Rev. 12/06/2021 Hazardous Materials Program OIRPage 2 of 3 <br />1868 E.
