SAN JOAQUIN <br /> Environmental Health Department <br />—COUNTY-- <br />Swimming Pool Official Inspection Report <br />Facility Name and Address: BROOKING PARK POOL, 4500 NUGGET AVE, STOCKTON 95207 <br />#11 Combined Chlorine Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: Combined chlorine level is too high. Shock pool and maintain at under 0.4 ppm. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain combined chlorine concentration below0.4 ppm. (CCR 65530) Chemical quality <br />of pool water and indoor air quality at the pool site shall not cause adverse physiological effects, such as irritation of the eyes, lungs, or <br />skin. (CCR 65531) <br />#13 Cyanuric Acid Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: CYA level is too high. Pool shall be drained by May 2020. Level shall be under 100 ppm. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between0.0 ppm and 100 ppm. (CCR 65530) <br />#17 Cleanliness of Pool <br />OBSERVATIONS: There is a small amount of black algae. Continue to remove on a routine basis. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to accumulate <br />in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides, and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool surfaces clean <br />and free of slime and algae. (CCR 65533) <br />#22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: Some skimmers lack weir doors. Provide by 1-2 weeks. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 3136B) <br />#36 Pressure and Vacuum Gauges <br />OBSERVATIONS: Lack of effluent gauge on return line. Install one by 1-2 weeks. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pressure and vacuum gauges shall be provided for each pump system. (CBC 3125B) <br />#38 Filter Cleaning and Maintenance <br />OBSERVATIONS: Left hand filter leaks. Repair by 1-2 weeks. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All filters shall be maintained in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. (CBC 3123B) Pressure gauge <br />located on the filter shall be marked with the clean startup reading. (CBC 3125B) Each filter vessel shall be provided with valves so that it <br />can be isolated from the recirculation system for repairs and backwashing.
