All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Chlorine level was low. Free Chlorine tested at 0 ppm. <br />Standard Chlorine Levels are between 2-10 ppm <br />Closure until Chlorine Levels are at sufficient levels. <br />CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br />the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br />or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br />chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />#29 Recirculation System Operation MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Spa pump should be recirculating water an hour before pool hours and one hour after pool hours. <br />Pump was not on during inspection. <br />Make sure pump is ran one hour before pool hours, during pool hours, and one hour after pool hours. Fix immediately. <br />CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: Recirculation system shall be in operation whenever the pool is available for use and additional times as <br />needed to maintain clear pool water. (CCR 65525) <br />#21 Water Level <br />OBSERVATIONS: Water level was high. <br />Water level should be maintained at a level that the pump can circulate water and debris through the system. <br />Make sure water is at sufficient level by next inspection. <br />CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: The pool operator shall ensure that the pool water is maintained at a level that will allow continuous removal of <br />surface debris through the pool skimming system. (CCR 65533) <br />#35 Flow Meters <br />OBSERVATIONS: Unable to read flow meter. <br />Clean or replace flow meter. <br />Fix immediately. <br />CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: Flow meters shall be provided on each recirculation system and shall be installed in accordance with <br />manufacturer's specifications.
